It is our mission to provide our clients with service excellence and superior patient care in order to maintain the highest quality of life for their pets.
Brenna has been with Dunlap Vet since November, 2002. Brenna says she loves her job because, "I have always had a love of animals and they have always been a part of my life and family. Having the opportunity to work with and learn about animals and their behaviors is both a challenge and true joy I look forward to. DVC has a great staff and doctors that I feel really make an effort to work as a team to provide the best care for the clients and their pets. The staff and doctors are a lot of fun to work with also!"
Brenna enjoys shopping, gardening, and spending time with her husband, friends and family. Brenna owns several pets: Grace is a Domestic Shorthair Tabby/Calico Mix. She is shy, has a great personality, cute, and likes her bunny companions. Tia Maria is a Blue Point Himalayan. She is very social, has an occasional attitude, very furry, and tolerates her bunny companions. Emmie is a Carmel/Gray/White Lion Head Rabbit. She is shy, likes to dig and run, loves to cuddle with her bunny companion Sprout, and gets along with the cats, Grace & Tia Marie. Sprout is a Black& White male Netherland Dwarf Rabbit He tends to be territorial. He enjoys grooming himself as well as his bunny companion Emmie. Sprout also enjoys cuddling with Emmie. Brenna says that Sprout is, "Not a Big Cat Fan."
Kathy Cain, Customer Care Representative
Kathy joined us on Wednesday, Oct. 21st, 2009. Kathy says, "Dunlap Vet Clinic was my first choice when applying at all the Peoria Vets. Luckily, I was chosen as a customer care representative for this location and I love it". Kathy loves her job because everyone here is so nice and easy to work with. She also loves seeing all the cats and dogs that come in.
Kathy gained an interest in applying at vets when she got her first puppy last November. She has always had cats but never a dog. It has been a new experience for her, but she is enjoying every minute. Kathy owns a Domestic Longhair black cat, Kaya and her puppy just turned one in September. Rocky is a Welsh Terrier.
Shelly Burns, Boarding Coordinator and Customer Care Representative Shelly began working for Dunlap Vet in 1999 as a kennel assistant. Over the years she gradually moved onto other positions within our clinic. In the fall of 2009 Shelly had to leave Dunlap Vet due to her husbands job transfer. However, in the fall of 2010 Shelly's family moved back to Illinois and came back to Dunlap Vet! Since being back, Shelly has become our Boarding Coordinator and also works as a Customer Care Representative.
Shelly says she loves her job because, "Every day is different. I've met lots of wonderful clients and their pets."
In her spare time, Shelly enjoys reading, gardening, and writing to friends that she met out of state. Shelly and her husband, Rob, have two children, Trinity and Cameron who keep her very busy and doing lots of activities.
